Installation in three parts; digitally modified book, video animation, modified note.
Work commissioned for an exhibition based on the writings of Derek Jarman. The very book the exhibition was built around was modified, and a new story replaced the original text on the cover. The book was placed standing up, facing a small screen with an animation. The animation showed a sun, a star, in different stages. The light from the screen lit up the book cover, making it readable. An audio composition was part of the animation. On the wall a modified note in green paper was framed, a personal message from the curator to the artist. When examined closely, the note had a subtle pattern reminiscent of the stars in the Milky Way. The exhibition was curated by Marie Nerland.
